Description

Vizylac (Lactic Acid Bacillus) Probiotic Capsules

Vizylac contains Lactic acid bacillus, a probiotic: live “friendly” bacteria that help keep a healthy balance in your gut. Probiotics are often used to help restore gut bacteria during and after a course of antibiotics, which can upset that balance and cause loose stools.

When people use it

  • During or after a course of antibiotics
  • To support digestive comfort and regularity
  • As part of a balanced diet for general gut health

How to take it

  • Take as directed on the pack or by your healthcare professional, usually 1 capsule once or twice a day.
  • If you’re taking an antibiotic, take Vizylac at least 2 hours before or after the antibiotic dose, so the antibiotic doesn’t kill the probiotic bacteria.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Cautions

  • Ask a doctor before use if you have a weakened immune system, a serious illness, or a central line or catheter.
  • See a doctor if diarrhoea is severe, bloody, comes with a high fever, or lasts more than 2 days.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a healthcare professional before use.
